Cable
TV Sucks! Get Cheap Satellite TV Instead!
5 big reasons why cable tv sucks!
1)
Cable TV rates are skyrocketing .. in fact they're ridiculously high for
the lousy selection of channels that they offer. That famous line of "96
channels but nothing on" hits the nail on the head if you're looking
to describe Cable TV today.
2)
The ads talk about these "really low" monthly Cable TV rates.
But check the details and you'll find that the low rates apply to the skeleton
packages which basically have NADA, and to get any channels really worth
watching you end up having to add on all these packages and 'paks' and in
no time your monthly bill is actually 50 or 100 bucks more than you originally
figured.
3)
What's with all the other little 'hidden' add-on fees and charges. The cable
guy basically comes to your house, plugs in a box or cable and boom you're
charged some ridiculous labour fee. Then to top it off, some end up having
to pay a monthly fee to rent their cable box. Do these people realize that
most satellite installations are done today FOR FREE and that the satellite
dish and receiver are the customer's to keep, so no need to pay a monthly
rental charge or worry about returning equipment if they move! Why wouldn't
I want cheap satellite TV?
4)
Cable shows all watered down crap anyway. Who wants to watch Scarface or
Chris Rock live with all the sweet cursing either bleeped out or voiced
over to say "Dammit" instead of "F%$k it"! And where's
the nudity??? They've cut all those scenes out too!!
5)
What's with all these ads on cable TV? I might as well be watching regular
TV with an antenna - they even squash the closing credits for a movie all
the way to one side of the screen so they can squeeze in more ads before
the credits end and then they subject us to even more ads! I got sick off
all the ads, and that's one of the main reasons why I switched to satellite!
Satellite TV delivers 100% digital audio and video with a lot better customer
service and a lot less financial effect on your pocket so if I were you
I'd think real hard and smart about making the switch from Cable TV to cheap
satellite TV.
Basic cable service uses less advanced analog technology prone to distort
the picture with shadowing, fuzziness and static. Many cable companies don't
tell you that even when you upgrade to digital cable, often only a portion
of the channels offered are digital: the rest remain analog.
All the entertainment from DISH Network (click the image over to the right
for more) comes to you in 100% digital clarity. This means that the picture
you see is digitally encoded and arrives on your screen in exactly the manner
the programmer intended.
